Juventus spread a crushing lead, but had no problems at Alytus

In Sunday’s Betsafe-LKL game, Utena’s Juventus (8/4) basketball players achieved a resounding victory.

After the break, Dzūkija slightly reduced the stack and forced Ž. Ask Urbon for a minute break (48:61). However, a more powerful outbreak could not be organized: the Utena people regained their dominance and increased it further. Ten minutes before the end of the match, the scoreboard showed an overwhelming advantage for the guests: 80:57.

Early in the fourth quarter, Alytus’ team scored several long pitches, but they could no longer cause a more serious danger. Martynas Žvirblis and Redas Šukšta eventually made their way into the top five for Juventus, the latter having made his debut in the Betsafe-LKL championship. Although Utena’s team failed to score the 100th point, the final result announced a resounding 97:82 victory.
