“I’m looking forward to all of this because these are my three biggest shows of the whole summer. Each one of them is unique and, sometimes, very beautiful things are born spontaneously, without being seen or heard. A concert is a living organism, it is an event that we create together with the listeners. People who go to my concerts know that together we can create a new miracle. In the past, I enjoyed talking about the fact that we have to live in the here and now. So when it came to quarantine, I realized that sometimes it’s just words because it’s easy to say “here and now” when you know what will happen tomorrow and a year from now. Probably what I lack the most is that knowledge and confidence, a sense of security, planning, music, publishing right now. There is also a huge lack of contracts that I received before the quarantine. The virus has stopped my career in a broad sense. Basically, for a couple of months, I felt like something had taken the sleep out of my hands. But then when the concerts started, although with some restrictions, I realized that they needed me because I could play. Today, I am very grateful for that, and especially to those people who come to my concerts and support me, who understand the importance of art, music and being safe together ”, says Jazzu.
The artist likes to spend her free time from concerts and rehearsals on her farm or in Anykščiai, where the restaurant “BasiBasi” is located. These two places allow you to relax, stay with her, and prepare for new jobs.
“I usually go to my house, where I am completely alone, I meditate and I don’t need anything else there. Also, as soon as I have the opportunity to take a break from rehearsals, to distance myself from the environment, which quickly involves me in work, I go to Anykščiai. Now I am looking forward to my concert in Palanga, which will take place on August 21, because our sea, like all Lithuanian nature, is incredible ”, says the interpreter.
Brave, provocative, extremely charismatic, talented and at the same time sensitive, vulnerable and open to its viewers, Jazz invites you to summer concerts on August 13. Kaunas, August 21. In Palanga and on August 27. In Trakai.
