In a meeting on Wednesday, the government endorsed a proposal from the Ministry of Health (SAM) to clarify the definition of leisure, entertainment and sports services that are subject to restrictions during the quarantine.

The Government Resolution clarified the restrictions on recreation, sports and entertainment services by prohibiting the provision of recreation, sports facilities, sports clubs, entertainment, recreation, swimming pools, saunas (except public baths for personal hygiene), discos, dance halls , cinemas and movie clubs.

The provision of these services will be prohibited regardless of whether they are provided by natural or legal persons. Visiting or renting leisure facilities for private events, celebrations or other gatherings is also prohibited.

As before, the exemption will apply to high-performance sports exercises, individual physical activity sessions (per visitor) provided by a sports or physical activity specialist, instructor, or sports or physical activity specialist service provider.

When organizing such sessions, it is necessary to ensure the conditions for the management of the flow of people, the maintenance of a safe distance, the conditions necessary for the safety of public health, hygiene and the provision of people with the necessary personal protective equipment .

SAM recalls that by government decree throughout the country as of November 7. until November 29. is subject to quarantine. It prohibits events, gatherings of more than five people in public places, restaurants and cafes that can only provide food to go or deliver it to natural and legal persons.
