R. Lingienė also said that returnees from abroad will no longer be tested for coronavirus, and that they will be able to travel to the place of isolation by any means of transportation, as they will no longer need municipal transportation.
When going to Lithuania, it is highly recommended to complete the NVSC questionnaire, and it is also advisable to assess whether self-isolation is necessary when coming from the country, this will be possible taking into account the information published by the Ministry on Mondays. R. Lingienė also recommended evaluating in advance if there are places available for self-isolation and, if necessary, requesting it from the corresponding municipality.
The tv3.lt portal remembers that in June. published a list of countries from which foreigners can enter, including 27 countries. Reaching 24 of them will not require two weeks of self-isolation.
Under the current procedure, if the number of COVID-19 cases in a foreign country during the last 14 days is 100,000. the population will be 15 to 25, the citizens of that country can come to Lithuania, but 14 days of isolation are required. If the number of cases does not exceed 15 cases per 100,000. Citizens of these countries not only can enter but also do not need isolation.
There were only 3 cases on Sunday
According to the latest data, only 3 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Lithuania in the last day. Admittedly, the number of coronavirus tests tested on Sunday is also much lower: samples from 1995 were analyzed, when generally around 5-7 thousand were analyzed on a business day.
Currently, the total number of infected people is 1678, the number of sick people is 363. At that time, there are several times more people who have recovered, 1236.
