On Saturday, the long-awaited KOK 84 fighting tournament took place in the arena of Avia Solution Group due to the prolonged pandemic, in which we saw an impressive war between Sigismund Ramashka and Vitoldas Jagėlas.

Ž.Ramaška, champion of the Bushido weight class of MMA up to 71 kg and alumnus of the Ukmergė Judo Club, tried to win another belt from the world champion, but in the weight class up to 77 kg the judges had to recognize V. The advantage of Jagėla.

“It just came to our attention then. I was expecting the fight to be tough, but not that hard,” said V. Jagėlo.

The second and third rounds of the fight between V.Jagėlas and Ž.Ramaška:

We remind you that Ž.Ramaška won the champion category belt up to 71 kg in just 1 minute. 13 sec. after defeating the representative of the club of the Rings Osvaldas Fedorovičius.

This tournament was supposed to take place in 2020 in March, but has even been postponed several times until it finally takes place this weekend. However, the roster of fighters has changed significantly during this time: David Rimkenzo Rimkus, who had to fight over a year ago, is now preparing for his ONE FC debut, and Tomas Pakutinskas recently fought at ACA.

In the second main duel of the night, the champion of the temporary weight category KOK up to 65 kg Matas Pultaražinskas had to defend his belt against the tenth in the IOC ranking of this weight category Vita karos, but the latter fell ill and the fight did not take place.

“When I got to the arena, I heard that V. Karos was sick, but fear is also a disease. Yesterday, during the weigh-in, she looked him in the eye and realized that it is better not to go to the ring,” commented M Pultaražinskas on the ring.

The coach constantly urged Ž.Ramaškas to push, park and hold the opponent in the standing position, but he only managed to do so a few times. Ž.Ramaška tried to do a triangle choke several times, but V.Jagėlo kept running away, and while adjusting the last seconds Ž.Ramaška managed to grab the opponent’s hand, but after biting his teeth, V.Jagėlo kept the gong until the end of the fight.
