In Žirmūnai: changes in traffic and the movement of public transport

Traffic until July 7. it is prohibited in the part of Žirmūnų street, between Kareivių street and Žirmūnų street. 72. It is recommended to avoid the work area on Kareivių and Verkių streets.

From June 24. 00 hrs. until June 25. 4.30 p.m. The following changes in public transportation are expected:

• The routes and traffic schedules of trolleybus routes 9, 12, 17, 20 and 21 will change.
• The route and traffic schedules of the seventh bus route will change.
• For the comfort of passengers, 5G buses will additionally stop at Verkiai stops (in both directions).
• From June 17. Route 6 trolleybuses also run on the modified route.

The routes of trolleybuses 9, 12, 17, 17, 20 and 21 will go in the direction of Žirmūnai to the North City (Povilas Lukšis stop), where they will turn around and return. Trolleybuses on the mentioned routes will additionally stop at the Povilas Lukšys stop when driving on the shortened route. However, they will not be located at these public transport stops: Šiaurės miestelis (towards the Žirmūnai ring), Žirmūnai, Kareiviai, old Žirmūnai, Šaltinėlis ring and Žirmūnai.

Route 7 buses will run north to the Bus Bus Park stop on the normal route, then continue on Žirmūnų Street and lead to the Žirmūnai Ring Road. While driving, the changed route buses will also stop at the Šaltinėlis and Žirmūnai stops. However, they are not transported at these public transport stops: the old man from Žirmūnai, Kareivių, Žirmūnai, the city of Šiaurė and Povilas Lukšis. In the direction of Lazdynai, Route 7 buses will run from the Žirmūnai ring on the same route.

Route 6 trolleybuses run from Žemosios Paneriai to the Entertainment Arena stop on the usual route, and then on Kareivių and Lizdeikos streets to the Antakalnis ring road. The rear trolleybuses run the same route. While driving the changed route, trolleybuses also stop at Verkiai (towards Antakalnis), Kareiviai (towards Antakalnis), Valakampiai, Oskaras Milašius, Lizdeika and Antakalnis rings. After the route change, trolleybuses do not stop temporarily at these stops: Verkiai (towards Žirmūnai), Bus Park, Žirmūnai eldership, Šaltinėlis and Žirmūnai ring.
