In the second half, Italy rushed in and after 12 minutes the advantage of this team reached 3 goals – 19:16. The bad start of the quarter did not get the Lithuanians out of the crayfish and the result was equalized again – 19:19. With 5 minutes remaining, the Italians went ahead (23:22), and the Lithuanian team’s goal attempts were imprecise. With just over a minute from the end, Italy was already leading by 3 goals and although the Lithuanian team managed to get close to the maximum (25:26), during the last attack the Italians were not wrong and added another goal – 27:25.

Third place in the championship was occupied by Serbian handball players, who were defeated by the Lithuanians in the semi-final stage. In the small final, the Serbian at 23:22 beat one of the championship’s favorite Spanish handball players.
