The first leg of the FIBA 3×3 U23 Nations League ended in Klaipeda, where the Lithuanian 3×3 boys and girls teams triumphed.
Girls Final 21:19 broke the Ukrainian team. Towards the Lithuanian final 21:16 defeated Romania and 19: 7 defeated Latvia. Livija Sakevičiūtė, Eglė Zabotkaitė, Justina Miknaitė and Martyna Petrėnaitė wore the shirts of the Lithuanian U23 women’s team in Klaipėda.
Men’s team final 21:19 beat the Romanian basketball players. And in previous matches 21:12 defeated Ukraine and 21:12 defeated Belarus. The U23 men’s team is represented by Adomas Sidarevičius, Eimantas Žilius, Ernestas Sederevičius and Gabrielius Čelka.
Lithuanians compete in the Europe 2 conference. In addition to basketball players from our country, the teams from Belarus, Greece, Latvia, Romania and Ukraine also arrived in Klaipeda.
The League of Nations takes place in six stages, three of them in Lithuania. The team that scores the most points in six stages will eventually become the winner of the Nations League.
In addition to the League of Nations, two more series of Hoptrans tournaments will take place in the port city in the coming weeks. One of the stages of the women’s world series, the so-called “teacher”, will take place here from July 30 to 31 and from July 31 to August 1. everything will be crowned by the final stage of Hoptrans 3×3.
During all these tournaments, the Hoptrans stadium will be open to anyone who wants to see the basketball trio live, as the entry to the 1,500. fan arena – free.
