The previous record of COVID-19 cases detected daily was recorded Thursday, with 615 cases confirmed by evidence.

1,778 patients infected with coronavirus continued to be treated in Polish hospitals on Thursday morning; 72 of them require artificial ventilation.
The total number of recoveries increased to 33,987, added the health ministry.

During the two rounds of elections, held on June 28 and July 12, it was required to wear masks, use hand sanitizers and observe the social distance. In a tense vote, President Andrzej Duda, backed by the conservative ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party, secured a second term, winning by a small margin against a liberal rival.
