Panevėžys, not for the first time from the main cities of the country, was almost the first to announce the beginning of the Christmas period. After a year-long hiatus, the city’s main Christmas tree shone again in Freedom Square this year. Along with Santa Claus, it was illuminated by the mayor of Panevėžys, Rytis Račkauskas.
The mayor wanted to stay healthy and safe
