In Lithuania 2,927 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed, 14 more people died and 104 recovered

Since the start of the pandemic, 112,359 COVID-19 infections have been identified in the country, killing a total of 1,019 people.

104 people have recovered from the coronavirus in the last day and 60,109 are still sick.

Suspected coronavirus samples tested daily: 8106.

To date, samples have been analyzed for suspected coronavirus: 1504085.

2,432 COVID-19 patients are treated in hospitals, 201 of them in resuscitation.

1177 patients need oxygen, 125 people receive artificial lung ventilation.

Currently, about half of the hospital beds are occupied: 8,075 out of 16,000. 585.

Of the 674 resuscitation beds, 404 were occupied. Of the 629 beds that could be subjected to artificial pulmonary ventilation, 264 were occupied and of the 6,100 oxygen beds, 2,137 were occupied.

On Saturday, Statistics Lithuania reported that 3,219 people had been diagnosed with COVID-19. 33 people died. 980 (out of 3,219) cases were recorded in Vilnius, 686 Kaunas, 350 Klaipėda, 313 Panevėžys, 224 Alytus, 223 Šiauliai, 148 Utena, 95 Telšiai, 92 Tauragė and 82 Marijampolė counties.

Police also reported on Saturday that 3,277 people were not allowed to cross municipal boundaries on Friday during movement controls over the weekend to curb the coronavirus outbreak.

Health Minister Arūnas Dulkys forced laboratories to send coronavirus test responses to the electronic health system daily. This procedure is established in the decision of the Chief of Operations signed on Friday.
