Various subscriptions will be sold, which should make it easier for Kaunas residents to find a place to park on the surrounding streets or, if winter comes, to keep their cars protected from ice or freezing. On weekends and holidays, in addition to those who want to leave their car here at night, an hour of parking will cost 0.6 euros, the SBA group said in a statement. When the underground car park is open to citizens, the elevators will also be put into operation, which will facilitate access to the Plaza de la Unidad for families arriving in the city center with strollers and the disabled.

According to the SBA, there are nearly 500 parking spaces in the 2-story underground parking garage below Unity Square. Under an agreement with the municipality, at least 50 places are assigned to citizens and the rest to employees of companies located in the nearby BLC business center.

Unity Square was renovated and the underground parking garage was installed by the SBA Group at its own expense. The Kaunas Municipality purchased granite for the upper surface.
