Starting January 7. The National Center for the Coordination of Voluntary Aid, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, has resolutely set out to help the country’s hospitals fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

The website provides a complete list of medical equipment that is lacking especially in Lithuanian medical institutions. Any person or company can donate a selection of the necessary equipment to a specific hospital.

Anyone who wants to donate equipment only needs to fill out one form. As soon as you receive a notification of intent to donate, Strong Together will contact the person, the medical facility you have identified, and the equipment provider. After this step, the medical device is delivered to the hospital as soon as possible, where it will be used immediately to save lives.

“I think we will all come together,” says Edmundas Jakilaitis, author of the Strong Together initiative. – I mean all Lithuanians who are willing and able to help our hard-working and hard-working doctors. We have a strong desire to help as long as no hospital in the country lacks the necessary equipment to save our lives in the fight against a pandemic. “

The National Volunteer Aid Coordination Center is an initiative of the Lithuanian Fusiliers Union Owl Squad, implemented with the Lithuanian Scout and other partners.
