The preliminary investigation was continued in order to find out all the circumstances of the crime, all the people who contributed to the organization and execution of this crime and, after an intense preliminary non-public investigation, the arrest of other suspects and the procedural coercive measures provided for in article 145 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
During the raids carried out in the Kaunas district, 276.75 kg of Jibiar tobacco, 29.415 kg of Buta tobacco and 7.7 kg of Tangier tobacco were found and seized in the homes of the suspects, auxiliary premises and the cars used by them .
Currently, the Vilnius Territorial Customs has been applied for the calculation of the customs value of tobacco with taxes to be paid.
In addition, in the pre-trial investigation, additional episodes of a criminal offense were recorded and investigated according to the indicia of offenses provided for in article 253 of the Penal Code of the Republic of Lithuania. 1 d., 258 p. 2, real estate surveys are also being carried out, since more than 30,000 euros, cassette, ammunition in addition to the tobacco in question have been found and seized.
