I. Zasimauskaitė says that one of the biggest dreams of her life is children and an organic farm.
“And it is not just a dream, real steps have already been taken. I have bought land, fortunately, it has not been sprayed for many years, it has not been fertilized, it is perfect for organic farming. Of course, the farm is still very far away, but small trials are already underway. I am particularly fascinated by the examples of natural gardening. You will also see people promoting it on our show.
One of them is the wonderful Diego, who came to Lithuania even from Peru and created an organic farm here in the Vilnius district. Now Diego has little work and clients ”, says I. Zasimauskaitė.
Eve’s main activity is concerts, but last year she planted many tulips on her land and they blossomed wonderfully. And in the spring, having soaked dill and other herb seeds into the ground, you still enjoy healthy, fragrant spices.
“I’m a vegetarian, so fruits and vegetables are especially important to me. Farm work hasn’t been new since childhood. I can sow and weed. So growing my own cucumbers or tomatoes without any chemicals is especially fun. for me, ”says Ieva.
Another discovery for Eve was the show’s heroes, who built a cozy and sustainable home without any investment.
Ieva, who has visited many of these families, admires those who are capable of creating the most beautiful things from textile or wood scraps: swings, hammocks, backpacks, playhouses or even furniture.
“I cannot sew myself, but I really know that the heroes of the show once paid little. Whenever you want, everything is possible and everything is learned.
It is worthy of an example, when one of our interlocutors in the Trakai district, together with like-minded people, built an impressive 500 square meter mud and straw school, ”says Ieva, who is increasingly thinking about sustainability in instead of buying new things. .
“These people really inspire me. They are wonderful, warm, kind, and responsible. They not only care about the present, but also about how our children, grandchildren will live. This is very important to me, because I have been dreaming of children for a long time and I want them to grow up in a more beautiful world, ”says I. Zasimauskaitė.
