Health facilities must ensure the management of patient and visitor flows, the use and management of infrastructure, and material and human resources during quarantine.
During the quarantine, the visit of patients to personal health institutions will be prohibited, except for the visit of the terminally ill, those under 14 years of age and mothers with the permission of the owner of the institution or another person authorized by him.
The decision on how the patient will receive outpatient treatment will be made by the specialist who provides it, after evaluating the patient’s health status and what would be most convenient for the patient.
Dental, maternity and neonatal health care, as well as vaccination of children and adults under the National Immunoprophylaxis Program are provided through contact. Disease prevention programs and preventive health screening services for employed persons seeking to work in an area of activity where exposure to relevant risk factors is relevant will also be implemented in a contact manner.
Heads of the health care institution shall ensure that personal health care services are provided in accordance with the approved plan of planned inpatient and / or outpatient personal health care services, prepared in accordance with the requirements established by the Minister of Health and in the interest of the patient.
Institutions belonging to the Lithuanian National Health System shall be obliged to process all patient data related to the personal healthcare services provided, including epicrisis, referrals, referral responses, medical images and their descriptions, only through the System. cooperation infrastructure information and electronic health services. Other institutions must ensure the processing of this data and its traceability through the institution’s information system.
