“Why can she write about what hurts others, but not write about the paths she had to take before her illness was diagnosed and her husband was helped?” I do not know. I have no answer. Maybe it’s because I’ve NEVER doubted doctors and their sacred choice to save lives. But since the end of last year, we have been through a real hell.
The family doctor remained deaf to all requests for additional tests. The family doctor also did not respond to the accusations that PAIN, VERY PAIN. The doctor was a little blind.
For half a year, he constantly searched for information on Google, afraid to wait for what will happen tomorrow, because, according to the doctor, the man has nothing. When the man began to swell his limbs, the pain became unbearable, and after three months of insomnia began to threaten madness, we called an ambulance. The action took place during the quarantine.
The hospital received basic tests at the reception and ran with a proposal to see a GP again. After that, everything is like in a movie. Two-way action – official and fast-paced slow motion – looking for friends, advice, private doctors and the ability to get things done faster.
Today we live in anticipation. And we are glad that our friends have helped us. Not first, second, or even somewhere in the healthcare chain because they WERE NOT AVAILABLE during quarantine and the cause of the pain was remotely diagnosed. Our GPs did not seem important enough to send the tests to specialists. FRIENDS helped us. Who looked for ways to help research and diagnose the disease, and then treatment options.
We want to believe that no “crown” is afraid anymore, because we are ALREADY receiving treatment. SUMMARY? Around the many patients who are still consulted remotely and do not receive the necessary tests. Why? When will the hell machine that the Minister of Health set in motion stop rolling the fate of the people? Why are medicines not needed in the regions to treat some oncological diseases, even though they are prescribed for Vilnius hospitals?
A sincere thanks to the doctors at Clínicas Santara who work both in quarantine and in quarantine conditions.
But I have no answer to the question of how to get to the doctors, honestly, without humiliation, without looking for friends and private clinics. Maybe you have it?
