“I am leaving first because I do not want to lead these people by the nose. I feel a great responsibility towards them, but at the same time I see that it is impossible to assure with the Labor Party what was said to the people before the elections. Convinced of that I act with honesty and respect. Both against myself and against the people of Lithuania. There are really decent, intelligent and energetic people in the Labor Party. Today, however, they have all become hostages of one person. Fear and adaptability does not allow them to free themselves, “says A. Guoga on his Facebook account.

According to the member of Seimas, the party, which is forced to listen for four hours to the “demagogues of the president about the business of magic water or the evil of vaccines”, seems desperate.
“The Labor Party has become a cult with its spiritual guru and his teachings on extraterrestrial powers. I have always believed and continue to believe in decisions based on facts, science and evidence. To this day, the Southern Labor Party has had the opportunity to cleanse itself of this false prophet, whose activities and speeches are becoming dangerous to human health and the cohesion of society. Unfortunately, fear and obedience prevailed again. Reconciliation prevailed. I don’t see myself where people don’t feel like themselves, “says A. Guoga.

The MP says he is currently focusing all his attention on charity.

“I plan that my support fund will continue to function in Lithuania. I have already done a lot in this area. I supported the Trouble Market, contributed to many noble actions, supported the Vilnius University Foundation. From now on, I will focus only on charity, support, public education. And I will be happy again. As before, I supported the Lithuanian men’s basketball team. Where really there was a lot of success and meaning for everyone, “says a member of Seimas.

ELTA recalls that disagreements have recently started between Labor Party member A. Guoga and party chairman Viktor Uspaskich. Guoga has criticized Uspaskich’s order for water to allegedly help build immunity against COVID-19. The politician called such behavior by the party chairman deplorable, urged the “workers” not to be clumsy and suggested calling a party council meeting on this issue. For his part, V. Uspaskich did not hide his indignation against his party partner A. Guoga and said that his days in the party were numbered.

After another scandal over the homophobic comments of the leader of the Labor Party, V. Uspaskich, who also found himself in the spotlight of the political forces of the European Parliament, Guoga, a “worker”, stood up again to criticize the party chairman and talk about his resignation.
