“I really wanted to have a rose in the city. It is no coincidence that you have chosen roses: there are many meanings in your flowers. For me, it is a symbol of aristocracy, sacred, love and death, femininity – the queen of flowers. Selected varieties are resistant to frost and disease. Each plant tells its own story, so it was not easy to put them together.
It had an interesting harmony of old-fashioned roses with perennials and spices, which gave us modernity and nostalgia, eclecticism. At the same time, I wanted to say that the rose is not a spoiled and pretentious plant, which can perfectly blend into the modern and historical spaces of the city, ring and flourish, delight people. The non-static flower gardens will change throughout the year, ”says R. Mikailionytė about the rose in Rūdninkai Square.
