According to the recommendations of the National Center for Public Health (NVSC), participants in events with dangerous contacts with these people were asked to isolate themselves and be tested for possible coronavirus infection.
Specialists do not recommend isolating the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėdas, and the first Ms. Diana Nausėdien also, but they will also be given a prophylactic test.
At present, it is recommended to isolate 5 employees of the Presidency. The NVSC is conducting additional investigation of people who had close contact with infected people during the events. All event participants are informed about possible contacts directly, NVSC specialists provide them with recommendations on the necessary security measures.
The visit of the President of France, as well as all other events that take place in the Presidency, are organized in accordance with the security requirements and the recommendations of the specialists. Staff have the necessary protective equipment, maintain a safe physical distance when communicating with visitors, and are regularly ventilated and disinfected. On Sunday the facilities of the Presidential Palace will be disinfected.
