The shareholder further estimated that it took around one million euros to create a job here. At the same time, an employee must produce products for 800 thousand euros per year. Production is automated and all employees are trained and highly skilled. The economic indicators, according to the shareholder, exceed the highest European standards.
He also said that the consensus with the mayor of the Akmen V district, Vitalijus Mitrofanovs, could be recorded in the Guinness Book of Records: he met in the morning and was already handcuffed at night. The land in the Akmenė economic zone was ideal for the factory.

Akmenė Mayor Vitaly Mitrofanov revealed that most of the factory workers are locals. Some of them returned from emigration and settled here.
He also mentioned that the real estate market has become more active, rents have risen in price. It is currently possible to rent an apartment in Naujoji Akmenė for an average of 150 euros. The mayor said that the direct benefits to the district’s budget are not great in principle, but without a doubt such a plant will revitalize almost every business or industry in the district and the city.
“By the way, these days we are celebrating the 70th anniversary of Akmenė district. The factory is a great birthday present,” said the mayor after the factory tour.

During the construction of this plant, a railway branch was built on the territory of the Akmenė Free Economic Zone and the surrounding roads were improved. As mentioned by the shareholder S.Paulauskas, next to the first factory in Akmenė there is already a second: a cabinet furniture factory, in which about 60 million. euros.
