The following groups and performers, who received the greatest sympathy from the public and the commission, appeared in the semi-finals of the Eurovision national team “Let’s Try Again!”: Gebrasy, Gabrielius Vagelis, Evita Cololo, Norbert, Aistė Brokenleg, Voldemars Petersons , Titas and Ben, Martyna Jezepčikaitė Daikerytė and the group “BE U”.

Summarizing the votes of the spectators and the commission, it was clear that the following five artists from the ten semi-finalists will travel to the final: Gebrasy, Martyna Jezepčikaitė, Evita Cololo, Voldemars Petersons and Titas and Benas. This was due to the combined votes of the viewers and the commission, which are evenly divided.

The group “The Roop” will also compete in the grand final, which will immediately receive a place to perform in this year’s selection final.

This Saturday, the performances of the participants were evaluated by the LATGA representative Jievaras Jasinskis, the singer Aistė Smilgevičiūtcutor, radio and television announcer, the journalist Gerūta Griniūtė, the music critic Ramūnas Zilnys, the performer and music producer Stanislavas Stavickis-Stano.

The group was the first to appear before the viewer court and commission “BE U” with the song “Love Yourself”. Actors Toma Vaškevičiūtė and Gytis Ivanauskas helped them prepare for the performance.

He appeared on stage with “My Guy” Gabrielius Vagelis He admitted that it took more than a year before he realized what he wanted from the stage, as well as before he began to feel bold and confident in him.

Singing from childhood Martyna Jezepčikaitė made “Thank you very much”, which received the most votes in the first selection.

“My mother always tried to cheer me up and put me on stage,” Martyna admitted, and her mother said that she had conducted several music competitions with her since Martynia’s childhood and devoted a lot of her time to her.

Norberto The song “Man in Need” tried to captivate the commission and the public; the artist is especially supported in the selection by his mother, with whom, he admitted, he consults on a wide range of life issues, and musicals are no exception.

“This time I decided to relax more, just feast the audience and not worry about the notes,” he opened.

“Without secrets” – the only Lithuanian song participating in the selection, with which he tried to reach the final Avoid Cololo. And he got it!

“I really sing this song from my heart and I want the message it spreads to reach the audience as well,” Evita said.

“This time I saw him with a completely different eye and I heard him differently. I would boldly send Evita Cololo to the final, this time she looked much stronger,” Commissioner Geruta said of her performance.

Stano followed her up as well, saying that Evita sings perfectly and looks great and confident on stage. “I just don’t understand where Evita has been until now ?!” he asked rhetorically.

Titus and Ben he performed the song “No” in the semi-finals, which, according to the cousins, they both believe a lot.

“We feel very good standing on stage, we live on it, we breathe, so it is very important to us,” the artists admitted, adding that despite each other’s individual hobbies and activities, they spend a lot of time together due to the music. .

Voldemars Petersons He tried to impress the commission and the public with the play “Wings of Freedom.”

Milicia was cited as a favorite by many commissioners, who praised the voice, the engaging piece, and the overall appeal of the show.

Unfortunately, the artists did not reach the final, although the commission awarded her third place, the audience voted slowly, and the girl even ranked eighth on their leaderboard. After adding the votes of the commission and the audience, Milita was sixth, she was very short until the final.

The last performer on stage was the performer, the composer. Gebrasy with the song “Where do you want to go?” He was considered one of the favorites in the semifinals, and then the committee votes and the spectators only confirmed him, both gave him first place.

A maximum of five votes can be cast from a single cell phone number at night. The portion of funds raised for Spectator Calls and Short Messages, which goes to LRT, will go to the performer or group that won the national team.

In order not to encourage telephone voting contests, the results of the spectator voting are also announced only at the end of the show. Audience voting during all broadcasts of the national team program is monitored by independent observers, representatives of the audit firm Grant Thornton Baltic.

Which of them will represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place from May 18 to 22 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and will be announced on February 6 during the national team final. This year, given the dynamic situation of the pandemic, several Eurovision scenarios are planned.
