After a tense marathon in Saudi Arabia, both the athlete and his faithful companion, his wife Emilia, decided to make time for themselves. The couple set out to rest in the Dominican Republic, where they spent fourteen days.

“We chose Dominica because during the pandemic it is one of the most convenient destinations for vacations, the country admits tourists and supplies them entirely,” Arūnas said.

Together with Emilia, they had decided for a long time that they wanted to go to the blue Caribbean. Seductive golden beaches and exotic tranquility.

“After the Dakar, we both really managed to recover, we had a heart rest during the first week, and the second I started preparing for the next competition in Dubai,” the athlete opened.

A few years ago, they and their wife also visited Mexico, which attracts tourists from all over the world, so this time they had absolutely no doubts about their choice to vacation again in the fascinated Caribbean Sea.

The couple bought tickets for the flight from Warsaw. According to Arūnas, the journey itself was simple and easy.

“Even though the flight lasted 11 hours, it was direct, so it didn’t take long.”

As soon as they got off the plane, Arūnas and Emilija were greeted by the sun and a clear sky.

“Dominica is fascinated by the wild beauty of the beaches, the great local atmosphere and the famous music. The atmosphere there was incredible. And what about the images that are like a postcard, “said the interlocutor.

At the moment, according to Arūnas, there are very few tourists in Dominica, so being in the most popular spots for just two is a huge plus.

“We liked the island of Samaná more, where it feels like you are in a different Dominican Republic, you can also easily swim and see whales from here and we were very lucky because they appeared more than once.

And on another island, which is very, very small, we were completely in two. Although it was raining, the warmth and transparency of the water and the speedboat ride through the bushes growing above the water was definitely noteworthy. It feels like you are in the middle of the jungle. “

As soon as he returned from Dominka, Arūnas began preparing for a trip to Dubai.

“First of all, my enduro schools and I #agdakarschool students have an intense time, I will train myself and help newcomers to get the “desert” experience. Immediately after that, the Covid-19 tests and the start of the competition in the Baja World Cup rally competition, which will last for 2 days, this competition is similar in principle to the Dakar Rally, the riders more strongest of the world 21 days “, People.lt said the motorcyclist.
