According to the government, the Independent Expert Advisory Council, which met on Wednesday, reviewed the following list of vaccination priorities and recommendations for the vaccination process.

The Advisory Council also recommends the initiation of vaccination in patients with autoimmune and oncological diseases receiving chemotherapy, immunosuppression, immunomodulatory therapy, radiotherapy, as well as in people with congenital or acquired immunodeficiency.

At the same time, specialists recommend that the Registry Center urgently simplify the registration of vaccines and tests, and create a system of registration of people for vaccination.

The Board of Experts proposes that a vaccination audit of the health and care centers be carried out two weeks after the second dose of vaccination.

According to the Statistics Department, 31.5 thousand have already been vaccinated with the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in Lithuania. priority groups of people to be vaccinated according to the established plan: doctors, high-risk patients, residents and employees of nursing and care institutions, volunteers.
