Evit has spared no challenges in recent years. At first, joy and praise when reaching the “Voice of Lithuania”, soon, the sudden death of his father Vitalijus Cololo, about which the interpreter still has difficulties to collect words, a few months later, the title of winner of the program of music, and at the end of the summer the first song with a clip. Over the years, the girl has had to go down a true American roller coaster.
However, Evita, who is firmly taking the first steps of her musical career, does not promise to retire from this world; after all, her father, then 11, was the one who encouraged her to sing.
“So far, I am grateful to my dad for keeping me on my way. That support has gotten me to where I am now. I gave him the victory of the “voice of Lithuania,” Evita said, barely holding back tears.

Looking back on her childhood, Evita says that due to the notoriety, Dad couldn’t even come to see the contests the singer participated in and chose the first places one after another. Also, when they heard Evita’s name, those around them usually formed a preconceived notion right away.
“My family and my teacher tried not to listen to the comments that I only achieved everything thanks to Dad. For this reason, only a teacher and my mother accompanied me to the competitions. And dad looked at the records at home. We were so in agreement that it is better that he does not leave, because immediately we will get unnecessary attention and wrong conspiracy theories on the air, “he recalled on the show.
Such speeches also occurred after winning the “Voice of Lithuania”, that the audience felt sorry for Evita, who had just lost her father. However, the girl, who has hardened since childhood and got used to incorrect gossip, does not pay attention to her today: she begins new and unexpected studies in Vilnius and continues to enter the world of music.
What lessons did Vitalijus Cololo teach his daughter, how does Evita remember her father, and what it really means to grow up in a famous family? This Monday night, in the program “From … to …”, 8 pm, during LNK
