Estonia has decided on new restrictions

The country’s restaurants, theaters, cinemas, concert halls and churches will remain open as before. However, no more than half of the existing seats will be available starting Monday. In addition, the government decided on Thursday to reduce the number of participants in the event to 200 indoors and 250 outdoors.

In parallel with the holidays that begin next week, the saunas, spas and swimming pools will be closed to the general public for two weeks. At the end of the holidays, a week of student lessons in early March will be held remotely.

Health experts previously warned that Estonia is facing a dismal March and April due to the increasing number of infections. 1.3 million the country has been struggling with rising rates of coronavirus infection since the fall. More than 55,000 cases have been recorded here since the start of the pandemic and 514 people have died.
