How much can dinner cost for two in a luxurious Palanga restaurant? “It really is 200 euros,” Žilvinas Grigaitis has no doubts.

How did Žilvinas get rich? Can you really afford not to work at all?

“I think so,” admits Ž. Grigaitis

And with what minimum amount of money could Žilvinas Grigaitis live in a month?

“I would fit in 2000 – 3000 euros,” says Žilvinas.

Probably we will not find anyone but Žilvinas Grigaitis who can show us the most modern and interesting places in Palanga. The famous man could be called a true Palanga ambassador – he spends almost half a summer in this resort every year. Žilvinas has owned his own vacation apartment in Palanga, near Birutė Park, for twenty years, and assures you that he has never regretted such a purchase, because the real estate prices in this complex are rising like yeast.

And although Lithuanians often make fun of a famous man, as if no one knew what Grigaitis lives for and what he works for, today he openly admits that he really experienced a financial problem during quarantine, but until then he had managed his finances so much that even without work today. You don’t have to think about how to survive.

“Yes, I could make a living from what I have invested and not allow myself to work at all. Because one way or another, I no longer have to make big purchases or it is extra to buy some real estate. I don’t consider machines to be a great asset. Riding one, two, three seasons can make a difference. But I would say that today I feel comfortable, “says Žilvinas.

Žilvinas does not hide the fact that he suffered many financial losses during the quarantine. All their businesses stopped. The luxury drinks provided by Žilvinas were no longer necessary for the events, no one bought exclusive brooches and the business consultations provided by Žilvinas did not take place.

Žilvinas is open: his bright and eccentric image sometimes puts his foot in his career in Lithuania, making it easier for him to establish business relationships abroad.

Žilvinas, 49, spends at least half of his life abroad. Just before quarantine, he spent a month and a half in Australia with his wife Elle, but after that, the couple was forced to divorce for a long time; in Australia, quarantine will last until November 1. Therefore, Lithuanians like to spend time in Palanga.

Can Palanga be called a European-level resort? Žilvinas has no doubts: very little is missing. After all, we have great nature, we are missing only a small order.
