According to the order established by the Ministry of Health, employees of educational institutions who work in educational institutions and other educational institutions and who have direct contact (permanent or temporary) with students educated according to preschool, preschool and primary education programs they will be vaccinated in order of priority.

The priority group also includes teachers who work in special schools or special classes in general education schools who have contact with young students.

Those who work in vocational training institutions and have direct contact (permanent or temporary) with professional training programs and social skills for students with special educational needs, municipal health specialists from municipal public health offices that provide medical care, will also be vaccinated. in the schools.

Starting Thursday, these education sector employees will be vaccinated in the central polyclinics of the Vilnius and Nemenčinė district, health offices in the district schools in the following settlements: Mickūnai, Riešė, Sudervė, Juodšiliai, Kalveliai, Maišiagala, Marijampolė, Nemėžis, Paberžė, Pagiriai, Rudamina.

Vaccination sites in senior centers have been selected to make it convenient for most employees of educational institutions to reach them, according to a report from the Vilnius district municipality.

Employees of educational institutions up to the age of 55 inclusive, will be vaccinated with AstraZeneca, older people will be vaccinated with Pfizer & Biontech.

The booster vaccination of the first priority groups will be completed this week. The second dose of the vaccine will be administered to 960 employees and residents of social care institutions, employees and patients of nursing and supportive care hospitals, and employees of personal health care institutions.
