E. Fabijonavičienė started its activity in 2013, as she says, driven by an internal impulse. The interlocutor wanted to participate in social activities, realize himself, “go to people.”

“The idea of celebrating children’s birthdays was born out of nowhere,” he said.

It is true that his specialty has nothing to do with pedagogy or acting.

“It just came to our attention then. Of course, during my school days I really enjoyed participating in social activities, theaters, dances and everything else, whenever possible. After school those studies struck and I felt like I was disappearing from myself and not from what I needed in life. After that, I see that the works don’t stick, they don’t stick, ”he asserted.

As life progressed and she had two children, the family needed more and more income. Therefore, E. Fabijonavičienė had started making jewelry, then baked cakes, made wool and sold various items and participated in fairs. Even later, Christmas decorations made by the woman herself entered her life.

“Along with the decorations came the idea of celebrating children’s birthdays,” he said.

Also, at that time, as she says, she only had one competitor in Klaipeda. It is true that E. Fabijonavičienė emphasizes that no one stole anyone’s ideas: both began their activities in parallel.

“It all started with great success, people wanted to have children during the holidays,” he said.

Why children and events for them? According to E. Fabijonavičienė, she knows how to communicate with the little ones, although at first she had to lead adult celebrations.

“It was for some friends, it was for others and they encouraged me to do everything more widely. Therefore, I also started holding celebrations for adults, many weddings, baptisms, anniversaries. But it didn’t stick with me. Family members sometimes ask, but I refused. Very difficult. And it takes a lot of preparation and an infinite amount of stress. And with the kids in short, I suggest the 2 pm shows and they fit into everything, they like it, ”he said, adding that it took him about a year to purify his target audience.

I had to close the newly established studio.

From the beginning, according to E. Fabijonavičienė, his activity is quite stable and he has already formed a circle of customers.

“It is true that this is not just an advantage, because you have to offer your customers something new. But I really raised a lot of children, I celebrated many birthdays, a lot of word of mouth, I worked at Plungė, and all the children of Rietavas know me, ”he assured me.

However, in March of last year, the entire country was affected by a coronavirus pandemic and a quarantine. E. Fabijonavičienė, like other people, had to stop his activities and slow down.

“There were those who asked to come to the events, but I refused,” said the event manager.

This period, according to the interlocutor, was very difficult psychologically.

“I am used to working all week and all day. And here I started sitting all day and gaining weight. But then it was difficult to move, “he said.

In addition, Plungė’s wife had opened a study game room “Nori šventės”. The inauguration took place in October 2019, and in March all activities had to be closed.

“I tried to stretch for another year, I worked a bit in the summer and that’s it. There was no savings and the rent had to be paid, so I decided to close. But I don’t feel bad about it. We have tried so many activities with my husband in my life Choose what you like best, “he said.

The total costs, together with the rent of the premises, which had to be covered during the quarantine, amounted to about 6 thousand. euros. E. Fabijonavičienė admits that so far the loan has fallen on her.

“But it is not a million, others have lost more. Compared to companies that have collapsed, there are only tears here. I don’t feel bitter because even though I really wanted to have a studio like that, I realized that I didn’t need it. In short, you need to work more than twice, very high fatigue, and the gains are the same. There were no downsides, but there were no big gains, “the woman said.

E. Fabijonavičienė is convinced that all this was beneficial and helped her to redistribute priorities.

The most popular characters among children are cartoon characters.

E. Fabijonavičienė said that there is no Pepe Long Legs among the most popular and desirable characters of parents these days.

“It’s a shame, Pepe Patas Largas, my favorite character that I was able to play in the first place, but unfortunately the children don’t know her anymore. Children and their parents do not read such books, they are not required in school, they do not show such films. “I played Alice in Wonderland recently, but it’s also an exceptional case, because that girl loves this character, but she’s not popular anyway,” he said.

Now the favorite characters of children are superheroes: Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, Elsa, Unicorn, LOL Doll.

“I would rather not be the most popular character in cartoons, but create my own. For example, I really like the fairy, I have three costumes of the same design, but for my birthday I want the most popular ones. I would like to have one beast, an aphid, a borage, but they are unpopular ”, assured the interlocutor.

E. Fabijonavičienė observes that during this period, during which she is hosting an event, it was not the children who changed, but the parents. Each of them wants something unique for the new vacation that was not available to others. Still, kids are good at what they get.

“Drawing faces in 9 years is not out of fashion. The most popular on every birthday. I have no idea the same, how? And generations are changing, both smaller and larger, but they still want to draw emoticons, “he said.

It is true that new trends are emerging in children’s holiday years. For example, large soap bubbles are very popular at the moment, in some programs E. Fabijonavičienė also includes the production of the so-called disgust.

“Sometimes parents want to make sugar wool, for example, but they have to advise them to leave it, because they will pay a lot of money to eat a piece. And a lot of time will be lost. Children love to play, contests, prizes, no matter what it is, it is important to win something. They like to party ”, the woman summed up.
