According to the information, the opening hours of some stores are reduced by one hour; they will close an hour earlier every day of the week. The opening hours of some stores change only on weekends, when they will be open for an hour or two.

Thirty chain stores, including newly opened stores, will be open during normal business hours in January. Also, in the country’s largest cities, Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda, at least one Rimi shopping center will be available until 23:00.

“Before the big holidays of the year and these days, our online stores are open to buyers more than usual. Today, tomorrow and the first day of the New Year, we work longer than in previous years so that buyers can shop at a convenient time for them, avoiding larger meetings, and our employees do not have to worry about regulating flows.

Realizing that after the end of the holidays and when customers return to work, although from home, the need and opportunities to visit the points of sale will be less than during the first quarantine, we reduce the working hours of some stores ”Says Irina Miklienė, Rimi Lietuva’s Supermarket Management Manager. .

In major cities, there is at least one store waiting

From January 2. One hour less, until 9 p.m., the Rimi stores will be operational in the city centers, where the number of buyers has decreased due to the quarantine announcement and the start of teleworking by some of the organizations that operate here.

In addition, by prohibiting the activities of other places of commerce and service during the quarantine, the working hours of Rimi stores located in shopping and entertainment centers will be shortened. The express format “Rimi” in Druskininkai will be closed for the entire quarantine period, and the store of the same format in the capital, Konstitucijos Avenue, which has been temporarily closed several weeks earlier, will also be closed.

“Currently, we plan for the stores to be open on a temporary schedule, and both will remain closed, throughout January, until the end of the current quarantine. Of course, we will continue to monitor the situation closely and, if it changes, we hope that as that the epidemiological situation improves and restrictions are relaxed, let us review and, if necessary, adjust the opening hours of stores ”, says the head of supermarket management Rimi Lietuva.

The opening hours of Rimi retail stores in the capital will change at least in January. In addition, it is planned that at least one store in Vilnius, one in the temporary capital and one in the port city will be in service: the Rimi shopping centers in Vilnius, Jerusalem and the Domus Pro shopping center in Kaunas, Savanorių ave. 321, and in Klaipeda, Taikos ave. 64, it will run every day until 11 pm in the afternoon.

Currently, Rimi’s retail network consists of 68 stores in Lithuania. Their opening hours are posted on the store page in January.
