December 10 covid-19 has infected 413 people since the beginning of the epidemic, or 19 new cases since the publication of the data in the afternoon of December 9 (a total of 34 new cases have been registered daily since the morning of December December 9). This information was communicated to Rokiškio Sirenai by Daivutė Bulovienė, Chief Specialist of the Rokiškis Section of the National Center for Public Health, Acting Head of the Section.

Currently, 270 people are sick and 136 have recovered. Two district residents died from covid-19, five more from comorbidities, but the covid-19 was also infected.

Yesterday, very disturbing news reached the Rokiškis branch of the National Center for Public Health: the covid-19 chimney was registered in Rokiškis in the nursing home of the Apostle Evangelist Matthew parish. Here, according to D. Bulovienė, covid-19 was established for up to four employees. Action was taken immediately: the Emergency Commission was informed and an outbreak management plan was drawn up. According to D. Bulovienė, all wards and employees of nursing homes who are not yet in isolation will be tested first.

Fireplaces are also expanding at both hospitals: Rokiškis Psychiatric and District Hospital. A fireplace has also been installed in the Panemunėlis Multifunctional School Center, the Rokiškis Basic School and the Pandėlis Universal Multifunctional Center are also considered as fireplaces.
