ELTA recalls that on Tuesday, at 8 pm, the first batch of 2,400 doses of coronavirus vaccine (COVID-19) developed by the pharmaceutical company Moderna arrived in Lithuania from Belgium in the morning, according to the Ministry of Health. From now on, new shipments of Moderna vaccines will be delivered every week in January and February.
The vaccine shipment has been delivered to the ESSC warehouses and will be stored at -20 ° C. The vaccines will be transported from the ESSC storage facility to the Kaunas City Polyclinic. The vaccine shipment will be transported at 2 to 8 ° C, using special equipment to ensure temperature maintenance and traceability of the temperature regime throughout transportation.
Moderna doses should be used within 28 days.
