The 199 cm, 19-year-old Frenchman spent most of his career in Spain, where he played in the lower ranks of Barcelona.
In Lithuania, the son of the legendary French basketball player Alain Digbeu landed in 2019, when he signed a long-term contract with the Kaunas Žalgiris Club. The champions immediately loaned Digbeu to the Prienai team.
Digbeu is now a full and important member of the CBet team, spending an average of 19 minutes on the court and recording an average of 8.9 points during this time.
Having been competing in Lithuania for almost two years, Digbeu is convinced that until now he can call “Barcelona” his life team.
“It just came to our knowledge then. I have been playing for various teams in the Barça club’s age group since I was thirteen, so I would say that this is the place where I grew up and matured,” the basketball player told LKL TV.
The Barcelona city team Digbeu, as he puts it, has played the most memorable match of his life so far: it was a derby against the Real Madrid youth team.
“What he remembered the most was the match in the Spanish Under-16 Championship against Real Madrid. We lost that match by two or three points, it was an incredibly stubborn match. Of course, the referees did their job, as always, ”laughed the legionnaire from the Prienai team.

“It just came to our knowledge then. When I hit the ground, I thought I was happy to still be alive. Such inserts are not a new experience for me, I really have to practice inserts quite often. It’s always fun when it works during a match.” the basketball player smiled.
