According to the updated procedure, people arriving in Lithuania from any country in the world will have to undergo a COVID-19 test before travel, with the exceptions provided. Isolation also does not apply to those who come from the countries of the yellow zone, but the requirement of taking a second exam within 3-5 days of arrival in Lithuania is introduced for these people. The requirement to perform the test does not apply to people with COVID-19 disease or who have members of official delegations and children under 7 years of age have been fully vaccinated against this disease.

For those arriving from the red zone, the requirements remain the same: a mandatory exam before arriving in Lithuania and 10 days of isolation.

Isolation cannot be shortened before the 7th day of arrival by a negative PCR test. Until now, this survey had to be carried out at the expense of the resident himself, but from Monday it will be possible to do it for free at the mobile point. The updated isolation rules impose stricter requirements on certain categories of employees who are subject to isolation and who are allowed to go to the necessary location for work / business matters and perform related functions during isolation.
