The number of patients with COVID-19 infection in Ukmergė continues to rise. Another 8 new cases of COVID-19 were reported over the long weekend.
Starting September 15. A total of 70 COVID-19 cases have been identified in Ukmergė, 10 of which have already recovered. 60 Ukrainians are fighting this insidious infection.
According to data from the National Public Health Center (NVSC), currently the same sources of infection are a cause for concern in Ukmergė: nursery-kindergarten “Saulutė” (already 22 cases: 13 employees, 2 students, 7 secondary diseases – relatives of students or employees), Ukmergė the administration of the primary health care center (PSPC) (9 cases are linked: 6 employees and 3 secondary – relatives of employees), other cases – relatives, that is, arising between members of the family.
Those who have had a high-risk exposure should immediately isolate themselves, monitor their health status, and report back to the NVSC by completing a questionnaire. Please be patient while you wait for a call from NVSC specialists – they receive lists of more than 1000 people a day.

Ukmergė PSPC and Ukmergė Hospital report that currently all medical services are provided to the population: assistance planned, urgent and necessary. Doctors strongly urge residents to arrive for the designated appointment or exam at the specified time so they don’t have to get cold outside the door.
We ask residents to act responsibly and comply with all safety requirements:
- wear protective masks,
- keep a safety distance of 1-2 meters,
- wash and disinfect your hands,
- Avoid mass meetings.
