Dan Rapšys very fast in the Budapest bubble – dislocated with ISL Sports record

In his strongest match, D. Rapšys again had no equal.

On Monday, a 25-year-old from Panevėžys led the ISL competition in Budapest from the initial jump to the finish, finishing 200m freestyle in 1 minute. 41.23 sec.

D. Rapšis was less than half a second from Lithuania’s record set three years ago (1 min 40.85 sec) when swimming in a 25m pool.

The result recorded in Lithuania on Monday is the new ISL commercial swimming league record set last year, as well as the best result of the season in the world.

On Monday, Felix Aubock was in second place (1 min 43.35 sec), and Blake Pieroni was in third place (1 min 43.38 sec).

D.Rapšys obtained 12 credit points for the Paris “Energy Standart” team, which leads the competition in Hungary.

On Sunday, the Lithuanian swimmer also triumphed in the 400m freestyle.

Before that, on the ISL stage two weeks ago, D. Rapšys was the first in the 400m distance, the second – in the 200m.

Two more Lithuanian swimmers started on Monday.

Simon Bill finished sixth in the 100-meter freestyle match after 47.39 seconds. and obtained 3 points for the Energy Standart team.

An even more useful 26-year-old from Panevėžys was 4 in the 100m freestyle relay, during which Energy Standard swimmers outlasted teams Toronto Titans and Aqua Cenurions.

Andrius Šidlauskas, the third Lithuanian to represent the Paris Club, started at the 400m complex. Finished eighth among the same swimmers – 4 min. 23.22 sec.
