After this section of 11 km of speed, in the first section of speed tomorrow, the participants will be classified not according to their starting numbers, but according to how they appeared in the prologue, so the result is very important in it.

The prologue and the results of the Lithuanian participants begin:

ATV classification

Laisvydas Kancius (“Story Racing”, Yamaha Raptor 700)

L. Kancius was only the second Dakar participant to start the prologue, but the first to reach the finish line. The Lithuanian covered 11 km in 9 minutes. 13 sec. and 1 minute from French leader Alexandre Giroud. 38 sec. L. “Okay, the technology is working! Maybe there was too much stress, complicated navigation, millions of roads, bushes, degrees … It seems there had to be a short stretch of speed, simple, but I’m afraid I made a mistake and I’ve asked for a point. I had to turn around, I still broke the circle. But it’s fiction anyway, you can ride, “said L. Kancius. “Maybe after a kilometer I caught up with a Dane who was wandering through the meadows and he passed with joy. It was an honor to open the route.”

Woohoo! Wonderful and with those words Laisvydas explodes at the end of the prologue!

Now the important thing was not to stay in great power so as not to have a lot of dust. There were really places on the road when I pressed, and now I will return to the bivouac and after about an hour I will be on the podium, ”said A. Gelažninkas.

A whole new feeling, the speed was enough, but we weren’t entirely foolish and had no goal of winning the speed section. From what I see, we should start tomorrow quite comfortably, ”Vanagas said.

P20. According to plan .. Conservative / fast. I didn’t know the car … In a good way. We had no such conditions when we tested, here …

There was room to the trees and drove anyway. The warm-up quite intense, I hope we drive tomorrow, it will be a faster speed section, because now there were many emotions, both you want to fly and you do not want to start. We are not mistaken, the co-pilot did not deceive me anywhere, everything is fine “. .

“We started with slight stress, but 10 kilometers fun. It’s fun and easy, “said A. Juknevičius.” This track was fun, it’s a shame it didn’t make it to testing. There were many turns, in fast places, in places you have to rest well, there were pebbles. Only 10 kilometers, tomorrow it will be the same and 400. It is barely warming up here. Here is a drop in the ocean, it will have to spend 7 thousand. kilometers, so 10 kilometers is just a small drop. You just don’t have to make money. “

Pitak and a tank full of happiness! 💪 # Dakar2021 has started! With some of those adventures already at the beginning, more videos …
