On Wednesday, the Lietuvos Rytas television program Reporteris reported on the swimmer’s misdemeanor.
A spokesperson for the Ramūnas Matonis Police Department told BNS that the swimmer exceeded the speed of 45 km / h on May 23 in Panevėžys.
This, according to a police spokesperson, occurred two days after police fined the swimmer for participating in an illegal race and deprived him of the right to drive for three months.
According to R.Matonis, a decision for a swimmer has not yet been made for a new fine, since two violations have been committed: accelerating 45 km / h and driving without the right to do so.

“I don’t know, the decision has not yet been made. The case is still pending,” said a police spokesman.
The Code of Administrative Offenses imposes a fine of 170 to 230 euros for speeding from 40 to 50 km / h, and a fine of 450 to 700 euros for driving without the right to do so when private.
The delfi.lt news portal announced on Wednesday that D. Rapšis was fined € 85 for participating in illegal races in Šiauliai and deprived of the right to drive for three months.
According to the Code of Administrative Offenses, participation in illegal races is equated with dangerous driving and hooliganism, for which the swimmer was sentenced to the lightest penalty.
When the portal contacted D. Rapšis, he regretted his actions and said that he was taking responsibility for him.
“I acted irresponsibly. I went to a great race in Šiauliai, the so-called” dredge. “I am still explaining the circumstances, but I am ready to take responsibility for my irresponsibility, even if it means I will go three months without a driver’s license,” D. Rapšys said to delfi.lt.
Šiauliai County Police announced on Monday that nine drivers had been fined for a year for participating in a race, driving a hooligan and speeding for € 225 and disqualification.
Six more drivers received the same sanction as D. Rapšys: a fine of 85 euros and deprivation of rights for three months.
According to the police, another two or three hours of filming are available, which, after analysis, will identify other criminals.
