Rytas Head Coach Donald Left welcomed the fact that the Champions League organizers are looking for the most optimal solutions and striving to minimize risks in organizing international matches.
“I am glad that the Champions League is responding to the current situation in the world and trying to create a format that realistically looks forward to being able to celebrate the championship. We all understand that the first choice was with incomparably more risk factors. Now, it seems, there are more opportunities to run the tournament in case of unforeseen obstacles, – says the strategist of the team “Ryto”. “Well, in the new group, our goals are still the highest.”
In the Champions League tournament, clubs will compete every two weeks to give both teams and the league itself more flexibility to respond to possible new adverse scenarios for the spread of the virus.
