The FIBA Champions League has decided to change the period 2020-2021 in view of the risk of a pandemic. regular season tournament format and the team was divided into eight groups of four teams each. Vilnius “Rytas” entered Group E along with teams from Greece, France and Latvia.

Now, it seems, there are more opportunities to run the tournament in case of unforeseen obstacles, – says the strategist of the team “Ryto”. “Well, in the new group, our goals are still the highest.”
In the Champions League tournament, clubs will compete every two weeks to give both teams and the league itself more flexibility to respond to possible new adverse scenarios for the spread of the virus.
