Curry scored 28 points in the final and snatched the winning title by hitting the final shot. The fact that the Warriors didn’t stop the victory was the fact that he only hit one pitch at the first stop. Curry also made both three-point shots in the final.
For the Warriors leader, this was the second trophy in the NBA Sniper Competition. He first triumphed in 2015.
Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum, who scored just 17 points, missed the final stage.
This was immediately followed by a great performance from Mike Conley – the Utah Jazz player scored 27 points. Conley finished the last stop by hitting all shots, and at the stop where only 2 points were scored, Conley missed just one shot.
In the first stage, Jaylen Brown, representative of the Boston Celtics, was the first to try his luck, but, as time has shown, he registered the worst result and scored 17 points.
Right after Brown came Tatum, who scored 25 points and this guaranteed him a place in the final stage.
Zach LaVine and Donovan Mitchell posted 22-point performances and also retired in the first round. At that point, Conley, who replaced Devin Booker on Star Day, scored 28 points and made it to the final.
Still, Curry closed the first round and put on a show confirming his favorite status: 31 points. The Warriors sniper threw a save perfectly, and on a save with just 2 points, Curry missed just one pitch.
