COVID-19 killed 11 people between the ages of 50 and 89, with 92 people being treated in resuscitation

Deaths were recorded in Kaunas, Vilnius, Tauragė, Telšiai and Marijampolė counties. All the deceased had other comorbidities.

Six other people died of other causes in Vilnius, Panevėžys and Tauragė counties.

1,255 infected patients are treated in hospitals, 92 of them in resuscitation

Hospitals are treating 1,255 COVID-19, 92 of them in resuscitation, the National Center for Public Health said Sunday.

Oxygen masks are required for 675 patients, pulmonary ventilation is applied 51.

According to data provided by 48 out of 61 medical institutions on Sunday, 8777 hospital beds out of 16,000 are currently occupied in Lithuania. 856.

Of the 662 resuscitation beds, 341 were occupied, the artificial lung ventilation was occupied by 194 of 611 and 1937 of the 6287 beds occupied by oxygen supply were occupied.

The coronavirus was detected in a total of 34 thousand. 758 people, of which 26 thousand. 620 still sick, 7753 – recovered.

A total of 277 people died from COVID-19 and 108 from other causes.
