Kaunas mayor silo for compulsory testing
Kaunas Mayor Visvaldas Matijoaitis proposed to provide mandatory tests for coronaviruses to people arriving in three countries.

It is also proposed to approve the obligation of employers to guarantee adequate accommodation conditions for employees who have come to Lithuania from three countries.
According to V. Matijoai, such solutions would help to manage the epidemiological situation even more effectively and would contribute to the prevention of several similar outbreaks of COVID-19 both in Kaunas and in other municipalities in the country.
More cases
In addition to the Kaunas employee, 7 new cases were identified yesterday. Five of them have a veto.

Epidemiologists have not yet considered the circumstances in which a person becomes infected.
Another case was diagnosed in a Marijampolė county resident, experienced symptoms on July 10, the diagnosis was confirmed in an eye hospital. The contact person has not yet been identified, but may not be identified.
