Currently, the retail chain is not aware that more employees of the warehouse in Vilnius, Kirtimų street, would feel the characteristic symptoms of the virus.
Representatives of the responsible authorities have been informed of the identified case of coronavirus in accordance with all the rules, and the Center for Public Health is regularly consulted on follow-up.
To date, 260 Maxima employees have been tested for coronaviruses: 251 were negative and 8 were positive. Five are already fine. A response is still pending. Isolated due to contact with COVID-19 – seven.

We are prepared for such situations and are acting in accordance with an action plan agreed with the responsible authorities. Employees of Maxima stores and warehouses must be disinfected hands regularly. They have all the necessary guarantees. All contact surfaces are disinfected at least every two hours, and employees must keep a safe distance from each other, “says Ernesta Dapkienė, Director of the Department of Communications and Corporate Affairs at Maxima .
Maxima’s retail chain has insured its employees with special coronavirus insurance. In the case of COVID-19 infection and hospital treatment, benefits will be available to current and new Maxima participants.
