Conflict near garages: drunk gun threatened even the drunkest

Three men who spent time in the garage on Monday night had to call the police for help. The men reported that they had been threatened with a firearm.

Around 8.50 p.m. Three drunk men, ages 44 and 45, encountered police officers who arrived at the garage yard on Mechanizatorių Street in Varėna. They said a known man and woman had come to see them in a Volvo V40. When the conflict broke out, the newcomers began threatening them with a firearm.

Police officers detained a 34-year-old woman and her husband who arrived in the specified car. They were found to have a drunkenness of 2.29 and 1.38 ppm. They took away a pneumatic firearm. The suspects were detained.

Sobriety was also reviewed by victims who called the police. Drunks 2.70, 2.88 and 3.03 ppm were determined.

So far, the circumstances of the event are very vague. Participants in the conflict will be questioned on Tuesday. After that, it should be clear what caused the conflict.

Police launched a pre-trial investigation into the incident, threatening to kill or seriously disrupt human health.
