Delfi contacted the Chief of the Health Promotion Division of the Department of Public Health of the Ministry of Health. The specialist Galina Zagrebneviene explained that the use of masks does not depend on whether employees are vaccinated, but on which clients they choose to serve.

As has been said, if it is intended to serve clients with or without an opportunity passport, all employees must wear masks, but if only those who have an opportunity passport, only the use of masks is recommended.

“If a shopping center or store provides services not only to people with passports, masks are mandatory for contact service providers, economic operators, entities that organize economic activities or administrations.

„In Norfa, everyone will need masks

Darius Ryliškis, representative of the Norfa shopping center, also spoke about wearing masks.

He assured that although as of September 13, visitors will only be accepted with the possibility of passports greater than 1,500 square meters. meter. In the stores, the masks are still recommended, Norfa introduces its own rules here: the masks will be mandatory in all the stores of this network before and after September 13.

“The order will not change, everyone will have to wear masks,” he said, explaining that following the government’s recommendations that those without a mask can have a passport would make inspection difficult.

“So you have to build a security guard at the gate and passports can be checked at the gate.” This creates all kinds of difficulties, ”he said. According to D. Ryliškis, the divisions between workplaces and the requirement to respect distances also remain in stores.
