Another case is a Šalčininkai district resident who has had contact with a health care specialist who works in the admission department of a personal health care institution. Two exposed individuals were identified and isolated.
A person resting in Nida from June 24-28 also fell ill. The circumstances of the infection are being clarified. Six exposed people are currently identified and the epidemiological diagnosis is ongoing.
By July 6, a total of 1,841 people had been diagnosed with coronavirus, 204 people were still ill, 1,547 had recovered, and 70 people were isolated. 79 people died from COVID-19, and 11 other people living with coronaviruses died from other causes.
As of June 1, 37 import cases had been registered in Lithuania. National Public Health Laboratory on July 6 at 10 p.m. the data included 1,149 suspicious samples of coronavirus from the previous day. So far, a total of 443 thousand. 391 samples due to suspicion of coronaviruses (of which 128,490 mobile points).
