Booker listed two players at each position and, instead of the light edge, alongside the Fenerbahce leader from Istanbul Nando De Colo, he registered the name Rokas Giedraitis.

Previously, Giedraitis was included among the top five basketball players in the Euroleague by Fenerbahce forward Luigi Datome.

The Lithuanian, who debuted in the Euroleague this season, scored an average of 13.8 points for the ALBA team in Berlin, bounced 4 balls each and scored 14.7 utility points.

In the player’s position, Booker would see Nick Calathes (Panathinaikos of Athens) and Facundo Campazzo (Real Madrid), attacking defenders Mike James (Moscow CSKA) and Shane Larkin (Anadolu Efes of Istanbul), heavyweight Nikol Mirotichi (Barcelona ) and Derrick Williams (Fenerbahche), midfielder Greg Monroe (Munich Bayern) and Walter Tavares (Real).

Booker named Larkin the best basketball player in the Euroleague and Tavares the best defender.

Booker also expressed his opinion on the local championships and said he would like the Euroleague to have an “All-Star” match.

“Honestly, I think the Euroleague should be a league and their teams shouldn’t be playing in local championships.” And the Euroleague All-Star match would be amazing, I am in favor! Booker said.

The 29-year-old Centro Chimki averaged 11.6 points, rebounded 4.8 points and 13.9 points in the Euroleague this season.
