The official document announces several dozen different street names where smoking will be prohibited on apartment balconies.
It is stated that the bans come into force at AJ Povilaičio str. 14, M. Katkaus str. 2 C, Erfurto g. 10, S. Stanevičiaus street. 66, Šeimyniškių st. 21 C and many other streets.

The news portal tv3.lt recalls that the Seimas has established fines for people who refuse to cooperate with the police and provide data on smoking in prohibited places from next year. The maximum fine for these offenders is 120 EUR. At that time, fines of up to 90 euros are foreseen for smokers in the prohibited areas themselves.
Homeowners who do not provide the personal data of smokers on the balcony – name, surname, residence address – will be fined from 30 to 60 euros if they so request. Repeated offenses will result in a fine of 60 to 120 euros.
People who do not respect the smoking ban on balconies, terraces, loggias, etc. they may receive a warning or a fine of € 20-50. Repeated offenses will result in a fine of 50 to 90 euros.
The portal tv3.lt recalls that on October 1, Seimas tightened smoking restrictions. Smoking is prohibited on balconies, terraces, loggias of apartment buildings owned by individual owners when at least one resident of the house objects to smoking.
Smoking is also prohibited in covered public transport stops (pavilions), playgrounds and places where catering is provided to serve customers outdoors (at outdoor tables, gazebos, other outdoor facilities), except in the smoking areas.
Smoking is prohibited during outdoor sports competitions or other outdoor events, except in smoking areas. The law stipulates that the owner of a property or another natural person who uses the apartment and smokes in it must ensure that tobacco smoke does not enter the premises of another owner and the premises of the same apartment.
