Celebrating his 50th birthday, Asta Pilypaitė spoke about his inner maturity and the impact of the quarantine on his career: If you have nothing to eat after a short stop, you did something wrong.

Although the limitations of the quarantine did not delay the celebration plans in advance, since the morning the interpreter has been happy with the attention, the gifts sent by his loved ones, friends and bouquets of flowers.

“I really didn’t plan on celebrating, but it has all been unforeseen since morning. At first I got a surprise from my friend. He called to look out the window, open the curtains and there he held the largest sign with a birthday, a bunch of balloons and flowers. Very, very happy and surprised. This time it is a lot of fun for both those who greet and those who receive greetings. It is already a fantasy how you managed to organize everything. Well, accepting such congratulations is extremely interesting, “commented Asta.

Asked what thoughts this anniversary finds, the famous singer rejoiced in maturity.

“I like it and I like it. Well, in this era where we have all stopped, anyway, we all think about what we have done and what we want to do next. Feelings, memories, nostalgia – all these words perfectly describe my current state. You seem to communicate very differently with your old childhood friends, parents, loved ones. Everything is much more sensitive and deep now. Of course, the situation created by the coronavirus pandemic should not be welcomed now, but the current moment has also brought good changes. Everyone has their own path and we use each break in the way we want and need, ”Asta said.

Although she speaks of internal maturity, A. Pilypaitė is one of those artisans who does not seem to change from one year to the next in terms of appearance. When asked what influences undying youth, the singer talks about her pet: a five-bottle bottle of Bela, which she jokingly calls her daughter.

“I think it can be caused by both genetics and lifestyle. I’m certainly not overly physically active, but that movement always accompanies me a bit. I would like everyone to buy dogs, if it weren’t for my beloved poodle, my best friend who takes me for a walk outdoors often, maybe that health would be lower. A pet is not only a source of joy, but also an elixir of youth. I call her daughter. When you want to love a puppy, I take Bela in my arms, ”Asta smiled.

During the quarantine period, both Asta’s pedagogical and performing activities stopped, as well as everyone had to abandon the planned performances. However, speaking about the breakdown of his career, the jubilee was glad that this time it did not cause him greater concern.

“Sometimes I get angry when I hear the pain of entrepreneurs on the show. If you have nothing to eat after a short stop, it means you did something wrong. You have to think about tomorrow. Meanwhile, the world has long needed time to reduce consumerism. Let’s stop, we don’t need it so much. During the first quarantine, we really didn’t know how long we would have to stop. I stopped working completely. Well, and when possible, I gave concerts and students and participated in the festival “, Asta said.

Before the quarantine, the singing teacher, together with the students, recorded a song and filmed a video that is currently being played successfully on the YouTube channel.

“We recorded the song and filmed the clip, avoiding witchcraft, all one by one,” Asta noted.

Well, just before his birthday, A. Pilypaitė also presented his solo work “The beginning of a new day”.

“It just came to our notice then. She was waiting for me. We interacted with the author of the text, Paulius Stalionis, on Facebook and I just mentioned that I would like to celebrate my anniversary not only with my family, but also with the listeners.
