“I would like to inform you that today two Ignitis customer service centers in Klaipėda and Šiauliai were temporarily closed. This was done by employees of the Šiauliai Customer Service Center after the detection of the COVID-19 infection. We closed the Klaipėda Customer Center proactively by linking the general contacts of the employees of the aforementioned departments.
As we were exposed to the threat of coronavirus infection in these centers, all necessary measures were taken to prevent the possible spread of the virus: the facilities were disinfected, in close collaboration with the National Center for Public Health (NVSC), the test and staff contacted.
Both customer service centers will resume operations only when the safety of employees and visitors is fully guaranteed, ”the press release reads.
There are 73 cases per day
The news portal tv3.lt recalls that 73 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Lithuania last day, the total number of cases in the country reaches 3,932, the Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday.
Currently, 1,581 people still have a coronavirus infection and 2,246 have recovered.
A total of 87 people died from COVID-19 and 18 people died from other causes.

These 11 municipalities have a higher incidence than other Lithuanian municipalities.
During yesterday 73 cases were confirmed in Lithuania. Of these, 31 in Kaunas, 22 in Šiauliai, 14 in Vilnius, 3 in Panevėžys, 2 in Marijampolė and 1 in Tauragė counties.
